Villa i Cipressi is situated just outside Montalcino. It is a small farm owned and operated by the family Ciacci, who started out as beekeepers approximately 30 years ago.  During the 1990’s, they added Sangiovese vines and olive trees to the farm, given their passion of working the lands.  Today the farm and winery produces approximately 100 different products including the many varieties of honey, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Grappa di Brunello, Olive oil, pasta-sauces and wine-jellies. The farm is driven with great passion and respect trying to obtain the best quality of each product and therefore some products exist only in a small quantity.

Villa I Cipressi started producing Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino from the year 2000.  It has three and a half hectares of Sangiovese vines in the territory of Montalcino. The vineyards are located both in the south part of the territory and in the north-west part, and both are exposed toward the south which allow the vines to receive the best sunlight throughout the day. The southern vineyard is located at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level, with a soil primarily porous and sandy, that produce a grape with a great presence of alcohol, and a full-bodied and powerful, voluminous wine. The second vineyard is located 450 meters above sea level, where the soil is mainly clayey and calcareous. That gives a wine well perfumed and aromatic and with low acidity. Thanks to the natural barriers and the south/southwestern exposure, the vines benefit from a climate particularly moderate. This provides the advantage of being able to blend the grapes from the different vineyards, which enriches and improves the quality of the wine.
