Description
Production: From the Maremma region, in the hills of Fonteblanda, near the city of Grosseto. Hand-harvested. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, then another 8 months in larger oak barrels.
Tasting: Intense ruby colour. Very complex bouquet of black currants, cherries, blackberries, and plums, and a hint of
earthiness. Dry and full-bodied with structuring tannins. Intense, dense flavours with a very long finish.
Pairings: grilled meats and game.
