Description
Elegant and expressive, La Madonnina (IGT Toscana Rosso) embodies the Mediterranean soul of the estate: a wine full of freshness and finesse, reflecting a unique terroir between sea and hills.
Production: A blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from vines planted on clay and sandy soils. The Bolgheri microclimate, influenced by sea breezes, ensures a slow and balanced ripening. Vinification, overseen by Riccardo Cotarella, emphasizes the purity of the fruit and delicate tannins. Partial aging in stainless steel tanks and barrels enhances both aromatic expression and complexity.
Tasting: Bright ruby color. The nose offers enticing aromas of ripe red fruits, violet, and fine spices, with a subtle balsamic note. On the palate, the wine is supple and fresh, with a silky texture and balanced structure, finishing with persistent notes of ripe fruits and Tuscan herbs.
Food Pairing: Ideal with fresh pasta Bolognese, homemade lasagna, grilled poultry, or artisanal charcuterie. Also pairs beautifully with semi-aged cheeses.
