Description
Also known as the “prince” of Trentino, the autochthonous Teroldego Rotaliana grape is grown in the DOC zone of the communes of Mezzocorona and Mezzolombardo, where the soils are gravelly with a fine layer of fertile humus.
Production: The grapes are harvested by hand after summer thinning. Alcoholic fermentation with maceration for 7-10 days and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Aging for 16 months on the lees in stainless steel.
Tasting: Intense ruby-red color, pleasantly fruity aroma, and a harmonious bouquet with traces of blackberries and raspberries. A soft and full-bodied wine with a long finish.
Pairings : Given its soft and harmonious tannins this wine goes well with many dishes such as first courses, red and white meats, and cheese.
Alc: 12.5%
Residual sugar: 3 g/lt
