Description

Production: ‘Cabrières’; a unique offering from the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The very first vintage, less than 5000 bottles, for this 100% Grenache from very old vines planted on sandy soils and the appellation’s famous galets. This wine will expose you to all the potential delicacy that Grenache can achieve in this part of the world. Aged just under two years in concrete eggs, the wine was then bottled unfined and unfiltered in the summer of 2023.

Tasting notes: Slightly purplish color, aromatic nose with notes of plum and garrigue. On the palate, it’s refined, fine and elevated, with an explosion of cherries and layers of smooth flavors.

Pairings: The freshness of this wine makes it a wonderful accompaniment to charcuterie. Otherwise, perfect with pâtés en croûte, grilled meats and other fine cuts of meat.
