Description
The Beaujolais Blanc from Domaine des Chaffangeons is a wine made exclusively from the Chardonnay grape variety. Coming from young vines about 10 years old, cultivated on clay-limestone soils, this wine is the result of meticulous vinification.
Production: after a patient wait to pick lightly browned grapes, direct pressing is carried out, followed by cold settling for 48 hours and alcoholic fermentation.
Tasting: on the nose, this Beaujolais Blanc reveals a seductive olfactory profile, rich in aromas of exotic fruits, with a predominance of citrus, especially grapefruit. Its freshness and clarity make it a wine of great expressiveness, promising a pleasant taste experience as soon as the bottle is opened. On the palate, this wine is round and fleshy, offering a velvety texture that envelops the palate.
Food pairing: it is a wonderful accompaniment to a variety of dishes such as a mixed salad, shellfish or trout en papillote in white wine. To fully appreciate its flavours, we recommend tasting it after 1 to 3 years of storage.
