Description
Palazzo Vecchio is located in a unique area, immersed in the Valdichiana, between Lake Trasimeno and the Sienese hills, an ideal land for viticulture.
Production: eco-sustainable. Grapes are manually harvested from new plants at an altitude of about 270 meters. Controlled fermentation in steel containers and aged a minimum of 8 months in French oak casks.
Tasting: light, mature ruby. Subtle smoky-ashy nose with mild spices, wild plants and ripe black fruits. Lots of fragrance on the palate with exquisitely supple tannic frame. A long-lasting finish with well-balanced tannins and good acidity.
Pairings: Pasta and rice starters, main courses in general, charcuterie and fresh cheeses.
Awards: 2022: Gilbert & Gaillard, International Challenge Gold medal
