Description
A great Premier Cru endowed with elegant, delicate opulence.
Production: 40-year-old vines from plots located entirely in the commune of Fleys, with its more clayey soil. The Premier Cru “Les Fourneaux” benefits from a slightly warmer climate than the rest of the Chablis vineyards, hence the origin of its name. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (between 16 and 18 degrees) followed by 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged in stainless steel vats, then in oak barrels (400L demi-muids) for 12 to 16 months.
Tasting: beautiful straw-yellow color. The nose offers intoxicating floral, with notes of almond and honey, rich in ripe fruit aromas. The palate is a festival of tenderness, ample, with a significant softness, in perfect alignment with the terroir and its climate.
Pairings: seafood, fish, poultry and cheese dishes.
Alc. 13 %
