Domaine Caujolle-Gazet covers 11 hectares of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, 60 km northwest of Montpellier, near the village of Lauroux in the French region of Languedoc. The vineyard is under the double influence of the Mediterranean and the Massif Central. Its altitude varies from 300 to 400 m. The estate is the second created by Alain Caujolle-Gazet.

The vineyard of Caujolle-Gazet is certified organic. Its cellar built in 2012 is made of straw bales at an altitude of 700 m, on the Larzac plateau. Thanks to the remarkable thermal qualities of straw, the internal temperature remains between 10° and 20° while the outside temperature varies from -10° to +35°. The winery was awarded a Vincoeurs “Nature” trophy in 2015 for this construction.

Its high altitude terroir, its unique cellar and its viticulture and vinification practices allow the estate to distinguish itself with fresh and aromatic wines, with a crisp fruitiness.

Caujolle-Gazet wines are made from Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Carignan Blanc grapes.
