Description
Passo Indietro Red originates in the Vigna Primo Passo, on a gentle slope where our Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapevines find a perfect balance between elegance and power.
Production: Grapes are hand-picked between late September and October, selecting only the best bunches. Whole-barrel fermentation and extended maceration on the skins (20–30 days) give the wine a rich and complex texture. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurs in French-oak barrique, followed by aging for 12–15 months in second-step barriques and another 12 months in bottle.
Tasting: A deep red wine with intense aromas of dark fruits, spices, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is strong yet harmonious, with velvety tannins and a long, persistent final taste.
