Description
The La Madone plot is one of the jewels of Beaujolais, renowned for its Gamay vines which give rise to wines of great quality. Located on pink granite soils, this plot benefits from an ideal exposure, allowing the grapes to ripen in optimal conditions. Each harvest is carried out manually, guaranteeing a rigorous selection of the berries.
Production: made exclusively from the Gamay grape variety, the manual harvest is 100% destemmed, followed by fermentation for 10-12 days, pressing, end of fermentation, and ageing in concrete vats until bottling in March-April of the following year.
Tasting: it has a deep garnet colour with purplish reflections. On the nose, it offers a powerful bouquet of black fruits, with notes of slightly acidic blackberries that bring a beautiful freshness and a seductive balance. This olfactory profile invites you to discover all the richness of the terroir. On the palate, the tannins are powerful and unctuous, reinforcing the delicacy of this Fleurie.
Food pairing: its pleasant texture and harmony make it an ideal wine for convivial moments, going perfectly with a snack, a barbecue or a grilled chicken. This wine is the very definition of a wine of pleasure and promises memorable moments of sharing.
