Description

Production: This wine comes from an ancient vineyard in the commune of Mezzocorona. The vines are grown in the traditional “Trentino pergola” style, on gravelly soils with a fine layer of fertile humus. The microclimate is warm, with marked variations between daytime and night-time temperatures. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and selected after summer thinning. Fermentation takes place over 10 days at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels, with further maturation in large oak casks.

Tasting: Intense ruby-red color, fruity, robust aroma, harmonious bouquet reminiscent of nature’s beauty. Harmonious bouquet reminiscent of raspberry and plum with traces of chocolate. Full-bodied wine yet velvety with balanced tannins and a long finish.

Pairings : Perfect with all meats, game and full-bodied cheeses.
